Visiting Blair Event Studio
When will Blair Event Studio open?

How can I check whether my preferred event date is available?
We do not publish a live availability calendar. Please send us your preferred event date or month through our Contact Us or Request a Tour form, and our team will confirm availability with you directly.
How do I request a venue tour?
Complete our Request a Tour form and tell us whether you would prefer to visit this week, next week, within two to four weeks or on a specific date. You can also indicate the time of day that generally works best for you.
Submitting the form is a tour request, not an automatic booking. Your tour is confirmed once you hear back from Blair Event Studio.
The Venue and What Is Included
How many guests can Blair Event Studio accommodate?
Blair Event Studio can accommodate a maximum of 60 guests for both seated and standing events.
The event room measures 24′ × 40′, with a total floor area of 960 square feet. Our available furniture includes:
- Eight 54-inch round tables, seating up to seven guests each
- Six 8-foot rectangular tables
- 60 white chairs
- 60 crossback chairs
The venue’s maximum capacity remains 60 guests regardless of the table layout or chair style selected.
What is included with my venue rental?
Your rental includes access to the event hall and lobby, along with:
- Tables and chairs
- Tablecloths
- Tableware
- Lighting and draping
- Sound system
- Backdrop
- Projector and screen
- Karaoke

Does Blair set up and clean the venue?
Blair will set up the tables and chairs in the agreed-upon layout. We also handle normal post-event venue cleaning and the laundering of Blair-owned linens.
All setup, decorating and removal must take place within your booked rental period. Additional access requires prior approval and may involve an additional fee.
Can I bring my own caterer or food?
Yes. You may use a caterer, or provide your own food with prior approval from Blair Event Studio.
How can the commercial kitchen be used?
The commercial kitchen may be used for food preparation, reheating and plating. After the event, you or your caterer must restore the kitchen to its original condition and remove all food and waste.
Is the venue accessible?
The venue has a ramp at the rear entrance and an accessible washroom. Please note that there is currently no designated accessible parking space. Contact us before your visit if you would like to discuss a specific accessibility need.
Pricing and Booking
Where can I find venue pricing?
Current rental packages and pricing are listed on our Pricing page. A 15% HST charge is added to all fees.
What is required to secure my event date?
Your event date is secured once Blair Event Studio receives both:
- Your signed rental agreement
- A 50% non-refundable booking deposit
A date is not considered booked until both requirements have been completed.
When is the remaining balance due?
The remaining rental balance is due 30 days before your event.
If you book fewer than 30 days before your event, full payment is required when you sign the rental agreement.
Is there a damage deposit?
Yes. A refundable $250 damage deposit is due with your final balance, 30 days before the event.
Following a venue inspection, the deposit will be returned within seven business days, less any approved deductions for:
- Damage or missing venue items
- Overtime or other unpaid charges
- Costs resulting from policy violations
- Unusual or excessive cleaning
What is the cancellation policy?
The 50% booking deposit is non-refundable once paid. If an event is cancelled within 30 days of the scheduled date, the full rental fee is non-refundable.
Complete cancellation terms will also be included in your rental agreement.
Can I transfer my booking to another date?
One date transfer is permitted when Blair receives at least 60 days’ notice.
Your original contracted pricing will carry over to the new date. If you move to a higher-priced day or package, you will be responsible for paying the difference.
Event Policies
When must my event end?
Your event, cleanup and removal of belongings must be completed by the end time stated in your rental agreement.
Any overtime requires prior approval and is billed for each started hour.
Can alcohol be served?
Yes, with prior approval from Blair Event Studio. You are responsible for arranging legally compliant alcohol service and obtaining the required alcohol permit.
A copy of the approved permit must be provided to Blair at least seven days before the event. Alcohol must be served by a professional bartender or caterer, and service must stop at the time stated on the permit.
What decorations are permitted?
Tape and removable hooks may be used for decorating. The following are prohibited:
- Nails, screws and staples
- Glitter and loose confetti
- Open flames
- Fog, haze and smoke machines may only be used with prior approval from Blair Event Studio.
Is smoking or vaping permitted?
No. Smoking and vaping—including cannabis use—are not permitted anywhere on the property.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted. Service animals are permitted as required for accommodation.
